I wanna know what you think of the thing. Does it really work as advertised or was it some amount of horseshit you eventually binned after a week? Does it really fit “a mountain of ribs” or no?
Not like I’m getting one, but I’m really curious as to who bought TV stuff and used it, and whether or not it really did do wonders.

Send this question over to Albert Burneko over at Foodspin.
For Ribs the only thing I could see this being good for is coating them with sauce. If you can’t do that with a grill mop you shouldn’t be doing Ribs.
My parents are big on buying this As Seen On TV junk. They have a closet full of unused or once used machinery. I’ll have to look and see if they have it.

Vacuum marinating is an awesome thing. it really does work and is super fast if you lack the foresight, planning or time to marinate the old fashioned way. though if you want the same effect with out the switty, mostly to break device. a vacuum bags and a vacuum sealer work great. throw your meat and some marinade into a bag suck out all the air seal it and in a few moments your good to go.

I had a friend who worked at a great butcher shop. they had one of those but it was the size of a fridge. it was the best meat i’ve ever had.
